Dear J flower unveiled

Sunday 13 January 2019

Dear J flower has been gaining attention these few years in KL’s florist scene for their beautiful & elegant AF flower arrangements. Yesterday, my friend & the founder of Dear J flower, Jane achieved an amazing milestone for her company & herself as they’ve moved into their own studio.

The space was filled with Jane’s signature flower arrangements, making it such an Instagrammable space!

Every corner is just aesthetic goals!! Now I want to paint my room white hahah

With indoor trees & high ceilings, attending flower classes here would be so nice. Stay tuned, I’ll attend one soon!! 😂

Such an Instagrammable space, of course must #ootd 一下 lor. The dress code was white & this is my best attempt at being super elegant hahahah

There was free card making & wax sachet session & I got to make one too! I was super excited for it because I’ve always wanted to make one. Sorry no pictures of the process because it all happened way too quickly for me to document it! I was so surprised by how quickly the wax dried up. Didn’t get much time to think about how I should arrange my flowers & just went by feeling 😂

The calligraphy were done by the very pretty & talented @roxycalligraphy. I chose “Chase your dream” because I was inspired by Jane’s speech earlier where she decided to chase her dreams in doing flower arrangements instead of what she initially majored in which was fashion marketing. I’ve always found her so inspiring because she’s a girl boss that hustles to get what shes wants. At her age, its pretty amazing what she’s accomplished. In her speech, she mentioned to just go for it, whatever that dream is. Her guts, dreaming big & hard work made her what she is today, for that, I really look up to her.

Ok back to making elegant stuff! I actually love making crafts like these & never really had the time ever since I started working. But for that hour or so yesterday, I was in that element where I haven’t been in a long time, ever since I stopped going for art classes 5 years ago.

How did I do? The glue was spilling all over & I tried hard to cover it up. Not obvious right?

I’ve always wanted to make one of these!! I even bought the materials but just haven’t got off my butt to doing so.

Keeping this post sweet & short, congrats lady boss Jane on this remarkable milestone in 2019! To even more success ahead in your endeavours ♥️♥️♥️

Note to self, dare to chase your dreams.
